Buttery Garlic Herb Chicken with Zucchini
What Is Zucchini?
The zucchini or courgette is summer squash. Zucchini is a thin-skinned cultivar of what around Britain and Ireland is referred to as a marrow.
Buttery Garlic Herb Chicken alongside Zucchini is an easy 30-minute dish that has tender and juicy chicken prepared in a buttery garlic herb dressing with zucchini. This kind of dish is made with fresh herbs and is incredible!
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup freshly chopped oregano
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs, or breasts
salt and pepper
2 medium-sized zucchini, sliced
How to Cook Buttery Garlic Herb Chicken with Zucchini?
In a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat add the butter until liquefied. Add the garlic, oregano, rosemary, and thyme. Add in the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink and 165 degrees. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.
Add the zucchini to the pan and salt and pepper. Saute for 2-3 minutes or up until soft. Add in chicken back to the frying pan for a minute or so and serve.
